LCA (Life Cycle Analysis) enables an overall assessment of the impacts of a product, a material or a process from the extraction of raw materials to the last piece of waste.
This is a reliable and proven methodology to assess the environmental impact, and more particularly the carbon footprint of a product. In some EU countries, the carbon footprint is subject to taxation. Furthermore, it is becoming increasingly common to display it on product labels.
